PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. -

Plattsburgh High School was locked down Thursday, after police say a traffic stop led them to an illegal cache of weapons and other supplies on two brothers.

During an early morning traffic stop, police say they found a 9 mm pistol, a shotgun and body armor in the car of Jacob Laduke, 21. They then got a search warrant. And at an apartment on Adirondack Lane, police say they spotted Jacob's brother, Evan, 23, carrying a duffel bag with another 9 mm and body armor. Police also found duct tape, two swords, a hunting knife, brass knuckles, multiple loaded long guns and a ski mask in the apartment and another car.

Because the location of the search was so close to the high school, the school was locked down. The brothers were in jail Thursday night awaiting arraignment.
