68 college basketball teams hearing their names called this evening as the field for this year's NCAA men's basketball tournament was announced. As expected, the Vermont Catamounts not among them.

So where does that leave UVM? Well, they'll be playing postseason basketball in March. Just in a different tournament.

Vermont will travel to Northern California to play the Santa Clara Broncos of the West Coast Conference Tuesday night in the 16-team tournament.
It's the Catamounts second appearance in the CBI and their fifth straight postseason berth. If they win, they'll play at either Western Illinois or Purdue on March 25th.
