New venue for Burlington City Council meeting

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

Burlington City Councilors held their meeting at a new venue Monday.

It was at the Burlington High School as part of Mayor Weinberger's initiative to spend a week at the school and see education in action.

Once councilors got down to business they unanimously approved a plan to improve the so-called "North 40."

Officials want to better manage the unused area on the waterfront -- and form a long-term plan for development.
