BRATTLEBORO, Vt. (AP) - Vermont State Police say Route 9 in Brattleboro has reopened after a jackknifed tractor trailer has been removed from the road during a snow storm.
The truck had blocked both east and westbound lanes of the road Tuesday morning.
There were no readily available alternative routes around the accident scene.
Police said the heavy-duty wrecker had cleared the truck from the road shortly before noon. A state police dispatcher said it was snowing heavily at the time of the accident.
