Man killed in sledding accident at Mount Snow

WEST DOVER, Vt. -

Police say a man was killed in a sledding accident at Mount Snow Ski area in West Dover.

At about 5 a.m. Sunday, police say Jonathan Meyers, 28, of New York City, was sledding down a half-pipe when he hit a support post for the deck of the base lodge. He died shortly after.

Sledding is not allowed at the ski area.
