MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) - A Duxbury man has been appointed to be the new director of elections and campaign finance in the Vermont secretary of state's office.
Will Senning replaces Kathy Scheele, who is retiring at the end of March after more than 13 years on the job.
Senning, who received a law degree from Vermont Law School in 2006, joined the elections division of the secretary of state's office two years ago.
The secretary of state says Senning has worked closely with the outgoing Scheele over the last two years, learning the laws, processes, and responsibilities involved in the administration of Vermont's elections.
