Medical marijuana bill passes NH House

CONCORD, N.H. -

A step forward for medical marijuana in New Hampshire.

The House passed the bill Wednesday with a veto-proof majority. It would allow five dispensaries and let patients or caregivers grow up to three plants.

Governor Maggie Hassan has said she'd support a tightly-regulated bill.

It now goes to the Senate, where it has support, but will likely see significant changes.
