PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (AP) - Federal prosecutors say a 28-year-old man who brought crack cocaine from New York City to Plattsburgh to sell has been sentenced to 20 years in prison.
Deshawn White of Brooklyn pleaded guilty in July to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute 280 grams or more of crack. He was sentenced Thursday in federal court Plattsburgh.
Federal prosecutors say White brought crack from Brooklyn and sold some of it in Plattsburgh, about 280 miles north. He also recruited other dealers in the northern New York city from 2007 through 2012.
