CONCORD, N.H. -
The New Hampshire House has voted on changes to state voting laws.
The bill still requires voters show ID at the polls, but broadens the photo ID options to things like passports and military IDs.
But the next phase in the ID law, allowing election officials to photograph a voter without ID, was shot down. Instead they can still vote, but they must sign an affidavit on site.
Some took issue with the cost at verifying affidavits, and whether these changes frustrate the law's intent.
