Two major drug reform bills are headed to the Vermont Senate.
The House signed off on the measures Friday. One offers limited immunity to those who report drug overdoses. The second tracks drugs used to make meth, and calls for a study to help spot and clean up drug labs. It also creates new measures to slow the sale of stolen goods.
Judiciary Chairman Bill Lippert says addiction affects most Vermonters in one way or another.
The Senate is not expected to make major changes to the bill. Prosecutors and other law enforcers support the legislation.
