The controversial Northern Pass project in New Hampshire was not included in a moratorium passed by a Senate subcommittee.
The Union Leader reports the $1.2 billion project that would deliver electricity from Hydro-Quebec through New Hampshire was removed by the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources from a one-year ban on all large-scale energy projects.
The Northern Pass exemption will go before the entire Senate on Thursday.
