COLCHESTER, Vt. (AP) - The Vermont Drug Task Force has arrested two people and seized over $8,000 worth of heroin following a three-month investigation in Franklin and Chittenden counties.
Authorities say during a vehicle stop in Winooski on Thursday, they arrested 37-year-old Chelle Soutiere of the Bronx, N.Y. Soutiere was charged with multiple counts of selling heroin and trafficking.
Police arrested 29-year-old Rebekah Klark a short time later, charging her with aiding in the commission of a felony.
Police said additional arrests are possible.
