WALPOLE, N.H. -

New Hampshire authorities have released the name of the man they fatally shot following an alleged robbery of a Vermont business.

Police fired an unknown number of shots at Larry Albert Bohannon during a confrontation in Walpole, N.H. Friday. Saturday afternoon, New Hampshire's medical examiner concluded the robbery suspect died of gunshot wounds to the head, chest, and abdomen.

A press release issued by the New Hampshire Attorney General's office did not indicate what led officers to discharge their weapons.

Bohannon -- a white male in his early 50's -- allegedly wore a mask while robbing a Bellows Falls printing service at gunpoint earlier in the day, Friday; stealing an undisclosed amount of money. It's unclear if the police recovered the cash.

Bohannon is believed to be a resident of Grafton, N.H. New information is not expected to be released before Monday.
