Bobby Farlice-Rubio talks about some big discoveries in the sky. He is an astronomer at the Fairbanks Museum and Planetarium in St. Johnsbury.
The Universe is older than we thought, by about 100 million years! The data for this discovery, brought by the Planck Mission, is essentially the static we hear on old radios. So, Bobby shows us with a tiny boom-box how to tune in to the "echo of the big bang!" Also, he gives us an update on the Mars Rover Curiosity, which made a very big Discovery that also suffered "computer crashes" that slowed it down for a couple of weeks. Watch the video for more.
