MILAN, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire State Police say the driver of a pickup truck has died in a collision with a tractor-trailer hauling logs on Route 110 in Milan.
Police say the pickup was headed east on Route 110 toward Berlin about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. The tractor-trailer was heading west toward Northumberland.
The collision caused a fire. Firefighters fought the fire for 30 to 45 minutes, and that's when they determined that someone was still in the pickup and had died. That person's name has not been released.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was treated at the scene.
Another driver in a separate pickup truck was also treated at the scene. This vehicle was not directly involved in the accident, but involved in a separate accident while trying to avoid the crash.
