The state says Vermont should be able to close most Irene recovery cases by the end of the summer.
Just in time to mark the second anniversary of the tropical storm hitting Vermont. A progress report released by the Governor says FEMA has sent $143-million in recovery grants to Vermont, including $50 million since last June. In all, more than 7,000 homes were damaged.
The Governor's report says that while communities are bouncing back, many families and communities are still working to recover.
