Phony publisher pleads guilty to fraud

He swindled elderly, aspiring authors out of thousands of dollars. Now a Vermont publisher has pled guilty to all of the charges against him.

Peter Campbell-Copp, 63, courted retirees to use his publishing company to become authors. They wrote the books and paid Campbell-Copp thousands of dollars to get them in print. But the books never made it to store shelves.

Monday Campbell-Copp pleaded guilty to 16 felony counts. He'll be sentenced later this week.
