Investigators are looking for whoever started a fire that destroyed a house in Cambridge Wednesday night.
Crews were called at about 10:30 p.m. to the unoccupied farmhouse at 1680 Lower Pleasant Valley Road. Multiple departments responded. They say the two-story house and a nearby garage were fully involved when they got there.
"It was rolling pretty good when we got here. The flames were probably 40, 50 feet in the air," Cambridge Fire Chief Alan Cary said. "We're not sure what caused it and don't see any reasons why it should have gone up."
No one was hurt. Investigators say the fire was intentionally set. Anyone with information is asked to call the Arson Tip Line - 1-800-32-ARSON.
