On a recent trip to Boston, Mike McCune stopped by the Sports Museum located on the 5th and 6th levels of the TD Garden. Mike met with the curator of the museum who spoke of the founder and first owner of the Boston Bruins, Charles Adams. Adams was born in Newport, VT in 1876.
He grew up to be one of the most successful men to leave the Kingdom. After graduating from Jenney Business College in Enosburg, he moved to Springfield. Eventually Adams moved to Massachusetts where he would start the Bruins and put up half a million dollars for the construction of the original Boston Garden.
