A show of support in Vermont for the victims of the Boston bombings.
One-mile runs were held across the region, including one in Montpelier. Runners also held a candlelight vigil to honor the lives lost, those who were injured and others affected by the tragedy. One of the participants was Vermonter April Farnham. She was approaching the finish line in Boston when the bombs went off. The community came out to support her and show how grateful they are to have her home.
"I appreciate everyone's support. This is for the victims and the families and the paramedics and everybody who went through what they went through. I appreciate it and here's to Boston," Farnham exclaimed.
