BURLINGTON, Vt. -

One in five students has a language-based learning disability, dyslexia being the most common. A new film called "The Big Picture: Rethinking Dyslexia" aims to shed light on the subject.

Stephanie Hackett is a volunteer at the Stern Center which recently purchased the documentary to show Vermonters. She appeared on The :30 to tell us about the documentary. Watch the video for more.

"The Big Picture: Rethinking Dyslexia" screening is April 18 at 7 p.m. at Champlain Valley Union High School in Hinesburg. For more information, contact Laurie Burke at lburke@sterncenter.org or 802-878-2332. Free event.
