 The Champlain Valley Union girls lacrosse team went on a 9-4 run in the second half on the way to a 12-8 win over Spaulding Wednesday at CVU.  The Crimson Tide had a one goal lead at the half after an impressive backhanded goal by Courtney Craig.  Thea Weiss would get the scoring going for the Redhawks in the second half.  Lucia Llona gave CVU a 5-4 lead later in the half.


The Rice boys lacrosse team scored the final 12 goals in a 17-7 win over Mt. Abraham Union Wednesday at Rice Memorial High School.  Charlie Meyer gave the Eagles a 2 goal lead early in the third quarter, but it was all Green Knights from there.   Emerson Prager scored the next two goals and Christian Rouleau gave Rice the lead for good moments later.


Both David and Daniel Ro won in convincing fashion on Wednesday, leading the Essex Hornets to a 6-1 win over BFA-St. Albans in Essex.  David Ro, the top player in the state, beat Sam Costes 6-1, 6-0 while Daniel Ro beat Spencer Beattie, 6-0, 6-0.
