A couple of big awards here at WCAX News-- the station has picked up two regional Edward R. Murrow Awards.
The first was for a feature report by Gina Bullard and photographer Andy Goodrich. Their report told the story of Burlington's Dance Walker, Donna Marie Paquette. Paquette had a brain tumor removed. Her memory was erased and she has trouble walking. Some think she's drunk. So, she dances everywhere. Gina joined her on a stroll through the city.
And Scott Fleishman won for his sports feature on Chad Aiken and his family. Aiken's strong performance on the football field was inspired by his little sister, who battled for her life in a hospital room. She became somewhat of a mascot for the BFA-Fairfax Bullets.
