MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) - The Vermont State Police has a tactical team ready to go in Brattleboro in case their help is needed in Massachusetts to apprehend the second suspect in the Boston marathon bombing.

Vermont police were asked to set up the team by the Massachusetts State Police.

The Vermont Information and Analysis Center also is operating to process requests for information and crime intelligence.

Officials say there is no reason to believe 19-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev had left Massachusetts following a Friday morning shootout in Watertown, Mass. His brother, Tamerlan Dzhokhar, was killed.

Public Safety Commissioner Keith Flynn said Friday that police will remain vigilant until the suspect has been apprehended.
