A 17-year-old from Enosburgh is dead following a late-night collision.
It happened on Route 105 in Enosburgh around 11 p.m. Friday. Police say 53-year-old Patrick Prue of Franklin collided nearly head on with a jeep-- which had four teenage passengers. All four were transported to the North West Medical Center -- where 17-year-old Brandon Gleason was pronounced dead. Prue has been charged with driving under the influence. The exact cause of the crash is still being investigated.
Gleason was a standout basketball player at Enosburgh High School. He scored his 1,000th career point during this season's playoffs.
