BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - Vermont's largest city is in line to get a new chief administrative officer.
Bob Rusten has accepted the position in Burlington.
Rusten is currently the deputy city manager for South Burlington.
Mayor Miro Weinberger, calls it "the most important appointment I have to make."
The Burlington City Council will vote on the appointment Monday.
The Burlington Free Press reports Rusten will continue working for South Burlington until the end of May. If his appointment is confirmed he will begin his duties in Burlington June 3.
