WATERBURY, Vt. -

Vermont wildlife officials are asking for the public's help in keeping track of bats.

The population of little brown bats has been decimated by the mysterious white nose syndrome. In an effort to keep an accurate count of the endangered animals, the Fish and Wildlife Department has launched a campaign called "Got Bats?" People are asked to report the location of bat colonies, especially in the northern part of the state. You can fill out a Bat Colony Reporting Form and find more information at www.vtfishandwildlife.com/wildlife_bats.cfm
