A home and business in Morrisville went up in flames.
Multiple departments were called to the Foundry Street structure Friday night. When they arrived, fire fighters say flames already consumed the building. The owner of the property was not home at the time of the fire. A sand blasting business was located on the first floor. The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
"It's a very difficult building to attack. It's got a lot of stuff inside the building which is making it difficult make any entry so it is all exterior operations. It's been that way since the very beginning," says Asst. Chief Shawn Goodell of the Morrisville Fire Department.
Three firefighters were injured trying to knock down the fire. Two were treated and released. We do not know the condition of the third. An investigator has been called in to determine the cause.
