Lawmakers look at another busy day

Posted: Updated:
MONTPELIER, Vt. -

With plans to wrap up work this coming weekend, lawmakers are looking at a busy agenda Tuesday.

In the Senate, they're taking another look at end-of-life choices bill, which would allow Vermont doctors to prescribe lethal medication to terminally-ill patients who request it. The House and Senate have passed very different versions of this bill. Now senators will have to decide if they agree with the House version.

Meanwhile in the House, lawmakers will vote on whether to give final approval to a bill that could give migrant workers the right to drive in Vermont even if they can't prove they are here legally.

This bill has already passed the Senate.
