CONCORD, N.H. -

New Hampshire wildlife officials want your help counting wild turkeys.

They want to know how many broods are sighted from now until the end of August. A brood is a family of young turkeys plus a mother hen.

Last year the survey found more than 1,100 broods.

They're especially looking for results from Coos, Grafton and Carroll counties.
