MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) - Vermont's capital has a new committee to help it attain its goal becoming a nationally known bike and pedestrian-friendly city.
The new, seven-member Pedestrian Committee will encourage people to walk in Montpelier for transit and recreation, assist in street plans, monitor sidewalks, and related topics.
The committee meets the fourth Tuesday of each month.
