It is a case that terrified the Northeast Kingdom-- 78-year-old Pat O'Hagan, murdered more than two years ago. But now, sources tell WCAX News there are three suspects and they are already in jail.

O'Hagan was last seen alive at her home in Sheffield in September 2010. She was found murdered a few miles away three weeks later.

Sheffield resident Michael Norrie partially confessed to O'Hagan's death and is being held on other charges. Now, sources say Richard Fletcher of Sheffield also implicated himself. And a third man is also considered a suspect in the plot. They, too, are in jail on other charges.

A court filing shows Fletcher says the three men participated in O'Hagan's death and the disposal of her body. The filing indicates she was sexually assaulted and shot in the head because she had discovered a meth operation next to her home.

Court records show the state believes it doesn't have enough evidence to charge Fletcher with murder, despite Fletcher and Norrie revealing several details about the murder that were never made public.
