The big story nationally is the aftermath of the disastrous tornado that struck Moore, Okla., Monday.
Search and rescue efforts are taking place all over the devastated suburban community. Dozens upon dozens of homes and businesses were demolished by the giant twister that plowed through Moore. The official death toll has actually been revised downward today from 51 to 24.
Gov. Peter Shumlin, D-Vermont, issued a statement offering sympathy and support. Shumlin says "just as Vermont appreciated the help from other states (after Tropical Storm Irene), we now stand ready to assist Oklahoma."
