HINSDALE, N.H. (AP) - Police in Hinsdale, N.H., have accused a man of stealing a car.
They said police in Brattleboro, Vt., originally tried to stop the vehicle, but the driver continued into Hinsdale. The car was abandoned there.
WMUR-TV reports the driver, whom police later identified as 40-year-old Joshua Converse of Richmond, Va., fled Wednesday night.
He was charged with resisting arrest, possession of a controlled drug, loitering and prowling, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief.
