BURLINGTON, Vt. -

Repair work to some rail lines will disrupt Amtrak service to Vermont in late June.

The Vermonter train runs daily between St. Albans and Washington D.C. and back. But on five days in late June, service will be interrupted between Brattleboro and Springfield, Massachusetts. Busses will be provided to carry those people between those stations. The dates are June 16th, 17th, 18th, 23rd and 24th.

Track work will affect Vermonter service as described below:

• Trains 54 and 56 will operate to Springfield, Mass. where passengers will be provided bus service directly to Brattleboro. At Brattleboro, passengers may board Train 54 or Train 56 to continue travel to St. Albans and intermediate stations.
• Trains 55 and 57 will operate to Brattleboro, where passengers will be provided bus service directly to Springfield, Mass. At Springfield, passengers may board Train 55 and 57 to continue their travel to Washington and intermediate stations.
