HANOVER, N.H. (AP) - Crews have recovered the body of a 20-year-old man believed to have drowned in the Connecticut River.
Police said the man, whose name was not released, was found in about 18 feet of water in Hanover at about 9:20 a.m. Thursday.
Authorities said he was a foreign student who had attended college in Texas and was in town to attend his brother's graduation from Dartmouth College.
Officials say the man was last seen Wednesday night using a rope swing on the Vermont side of the river with his brother and other students.
Witnesses say he jumped from the swing, surfaced once and then disappeared.
