RUTLAND, Vt. (AP) - A Vermont man suspected of being involved in the killing of a Sheffield grandmother nearly three years ago has been sentenced to more than 15 years in prison in another case.
Richard Fletcher, 26, of Sheffield, had pleaded guilty to sexual exploitation of a child.
Prosecutors have linked Fletcher and his brother Keith J. Baird and his cousin Michael Norrie to the killing of 78-year-old Mary "Pat" O'Hagan, but no charges have been filed in connection with her death.
The Burlington Free Press reports that the U.S. District Court Judge Christina Reiss judge said Tuesday that evidence shows that Fletcher was involved in cleaning up the O'Hagan crime scene and had helped move her body but said there was no evidence that he killed her.
