BURLINGTON, Vt. -

Police say an employee was behind a bomb threat at the Price Chopper in Burlington Wednesday.

Investigators say 22-year-old Dustin Moore wrote a note on a wall inside the supermarket claiming there was a bomb in the building.

Crews then evacuated and searched the building but no bomb was found.

Investigators say clearing the store was a team effort.

"We don't know the building; we don't know the nooks and crannies. These people know their building better than anybody else, so we have to work with them to make sure everything goes smoothly," Burlington Police Lt. Jannine Wright said.

The store was closed for about an hour. Moore is due in court Thursday.
