The landlord of the Harmony Spa building in Williston is in trouble with the law.
Police cited 58-year-old Thomas Booska for allegedly allowing a prostitution ring to be run on his property out of the massage parlor. Police say they were tipped off to the illegal activities by Seven Days writer Ken Picard -- who went undercover to investigate what went on behind closed doors.
Earlier this month Picard described these conditions to our Kristin Carlson on the :30.
"They generally have to buzz you in and you're greeted exclusively by Asian women, many of whom speak very little English. And then it's often all cash transactions," explained Picard.
Police say the women working at the spa were also living there. They will not be charged with prostitution because investigators believe they may be victims of a larger crime. Booska is due in court Tuesday.
