CHARLOTTE, Vt. (AP) - State officials are looking for suggestions from the public as they draft a new management plan for Vermont's oldest state park.
Mt. Philo State Park in Charlotte is dominated by the 968-foot Mount Philo with spectacular views of the Lake Champlain Valley and the Adirondack Mountains of New York.
The Agency of Natural Resources is planning an open house at the Charlotte Town Hall on Monday. There's no formal presentation, so people can stop by any time between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. to review maps and other information and chat with foresters, biologists and planners.
