Former ICE agent pleads guilty in firearms case

BRATTLEBORO, Vt. -

A former Customs Agent will sell more more than 150 guns that were seized from his Brattleboro home during a 2011 raid.

Special Agent Richard Bernholz pleaded guilty Tuesday in federal court to filing a false tax return and failing to keep adequate gun records.

Bernholz retired last year. He'll be sentenced in December.

His lawyer says he has a firearms dealer to sell the weapons.

The raid was sparked by a gun owned by Bernholz that was used in Massachusetts shooting.
