Chittenden County prosecutor cracks down on human trafficking

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

The Chittenden County prosecutor is going after landlords in an attempt to crack down on human trafficking.

It's an open secret. Several Asian massage parlors in Vermont sell sex. And it appears they do it with women being held against their will who were smuggled into the country. Seven Days reporter Ken Picard exposed the problem after walking into several Chittenden County spas and being offered sex for cash.

Chittenden County State's Attorney T.J. Donovan discusses the latest.
