BURLINGTON, Vt. -

A young Burlington chef will get to visit the White House for winning a healthy recipe contest.

Colin Hurliman, 9, was Vermont's winner for his "Champ's Maple BBQ Turkey Burgers."

This is the second year of the Kids' "State Dinner" lunch, which will be hosted by first lady Michelle Obama July 9. Fifty-four winners were chosen from more than 1,300 recipes.

To win, the recipes had to represent all the food groups and include lean meats, whole grains and fruits or veggies.
