Harwood to install surveillance cameras

Posted: Updated:

Harwood Union High School is getting new surveillance cameras following a vandalism spree last month.

Authorities say suspects broke into the Duxbury school in early May. They sealed several bathroom drains with duct tape and caused extensive flooding and water damage. The building was closed for two days.

Now, the school board has voted to approve 14 cameras for the school. Officials say they'll be installed inside and outside of the building sometime this summer.
