KEENE, N.H. (AP) - A New York man has been charged with slashing a man in the face, neck, chest and arms at a bar in Keene, N.H.
Police said the 38-year-old Gerald Joseph Rivers of Brooklyn was arrested Monday afternoon and charged with first-degree assault.
Police said emergency responders were called to the Railroad Tavern on Saturday, where they found Jimmie Lee Leonard injured. Leonard was treated and released from a hospital for multiple knife wounds. He gave a description of two men involved in the incident.
Police are still investigating.
