July is here and that means in just a few days, thousands of people will be celebrating with fireworks.
The Burlington Fire Marshal says he expects about 30,000 people to show up to the waterfront on July 3rd for the city's annual fireworks show. They're asking people not to bring pets or sparklers to the event because of the crowds. They're also reminding people that no fireworks of any type are allowed in city parks, campgrounds, or beaches. For more information on what fireworks are allowed -- and where -- you can contact the Fire Marshal's office.
