Teen arrested in St. Albans arsons

Posted: Updated:
ST. ALBANS, Vt. -

A teenager is facing charges for torching two buildings on his family's farm in St. Albans Town.

A vacant mobile home burned on Tuesday at the Ladd Farm on Maquam Shore Road. That was just two days after storage barn went up in flames.

Fire officials immediately suspected arson and the investigation led to the arrest of Daniel Ladd, 16. He is the son of farm owners Lorin and Robin Ladd. The teen was charged Friday with two counts of arson.

A vacant house on the farm was also intentionally burned back in May, but no charges so far in that case.
