THETFORD, Vt. -

The Thetford woman who underwent a full face transplant after a terrible domestic attack returns Tuesday to the Boston hospital that did the surgery.

Carmen Tarleton will be signing copies of her book "Overcome: Burned, Blinded and Blessed," in which she writes about her experiences since her husband attacked her six years ago with industrial strength lye.

Tarlton had the face transplant surgery at Brigham and Women's Hospital in February after dozens of other operations to repair her injuries.
