Underhill and Jericho celebrated a milestone Saturday.
Dr. Burnett Rawson founded the Deborah Rawson Memorial Library almost 20 years ago and Saturday, he celebrated his 100th birthday at the library. The library was named after his daughter, who died of cancer.
Dr. Rawson has played a major role in the community as an advocate of education and reading. For his birthday wish, he hopes to see the library continue to spread his message.
"I think libraries have such a vital role to play in our community. I think knowledge goes on in your whole life," says Dr. Rawson.
Dr. Rawson also received birthday wishes from Representative Peter Welch and Senator Patrick Leahy.
