RANDOLPH, Vt. -

Authorities expanded their search Wednesday for a missing man in the woods off Route 14 in Randolph.

Police say Robert Cosman, 33, of Shelburne, left his home five days ago with camping gear and hasn't been seen since. He has medical issues and police are worried he may need help.

Authorities found Cosman's truck abandoned in a rural area of Route 14. Wednesday, they increased their search efforts to a 1-mile radius from where his vehicle was found. Five canine teams were put in the woods and a family member joined the search.

Anyone with information is asked to call Vermont State Police.
